This hotel is in a great (safe) location, you can walk to most of the tourist attractions and there is a cable car stop right across the street. The doormen were very friendly and helpful, the concierge was extremely helpful, the room was very clean and spacious, aand we loved the nautical theme. There is also a museum attached to the lobby of this hotel with some great displays and plenty of info on all the National and regional parks that are in the area. All-in-all a great place to stay while in San Francisco!!

Right from the start Donavon greeted us with an aloha knowing we were from Hawaii loved him every time we saw him his was friendly.then we checked in with Lai and another great girl at the front who wished me happy Bday knowing we were there all 8 of us for my 45th celebration!they were VERY accommodating right from the start! Then we got our bags delivered by the very friendly Andreus he was super nice and helpful! He also made sure that I was treated special for my Bday! When I got to my room ther was champagne and a cheese platter for everyone! How cool was that LOVED it! We had the best time ever at the Argonaut can't wait to come back! Thanks guys you really helped make our trip super memorable!

Room was very clean. The motiff of the rooms are like you are on a boat. Daily they have free wine tasting. Loation is across from the Wharf and across the street from the Powell & Hyde Cable car and blocks from a trolley stop that will get you to Market Street cheaply. Woul recommend this hotel. Rooms do need better soundproofing.

The hotel was in a very good location as far as Fishermans warf and that environment. The walls of the rooms were very thin and you could hear everything going on in the next room. The lobby area is extremely busy and undermanned. The consergie services were horrible. You could not get anyone to answer questions or help you and there was always a line to wait in. The non-english speaking and the orientals were given preference over the english speaking customers. An enormous amount of homeless and vagarents. Not a good environment for children.
