sheets were not clean, at 4pm we had to find someone to get clean towels. we could not park two cars in the lot we had to park the other car down the street. they should disclose that there is only one spot per room. we were moving our daughter into college. i would not recommend this hotel

I usually don't complain but this needs to be said. The door was broken a large person, myself, had to slam into it to force it open, it had slintered wood and looked as if it had been kicked open the week before. Although the room seemed clean, the trail of insect bites, in rows of 3 up both my arms and sides, might contradict that observation. I will take my chances at other places in the area. Owners were seriously unpleasant. Never again.

Clean and quiet, covers the needs of a basic traveler. I arrived early and there was no problem checking in. The staff was polite and welcoming. I left my sunglasses in the breakfast area and the front desk figured out to whom they belonged and called me! If you need to stay near downtown Santa Cruz, Ramada is a good call.

Since we were attending a special event I new we would only need a bed and not ambiance. The motel was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I usually do not sleep well on a strange mattress. But this one was comfortable. The little refrigerator made a humming noise that bothered me a bit but my husband wasn't bothered.. The continetal breakfast featured waffles with the usuall foods. the location was downtown and convenient. You could site see on Ocean st. And if you wanted to do the walk the beach was probably 3/4 to a mile from the motel. If I was doing an in and out I would stay there again. Note the area may be really congested in the peak season.
