We got there after they had an electrical outage. It was mass chaos and utter confusion. Very expensive to eat at their restaurants. We found a Subway Restaurant down the street and picked up sandwiches for dinner. Would I stay there again, never!

My husband and I stayed at the Caribe Hilton for 3 nights in Puerto Rico over Thanksgiving 2010. We wanted to pick a reasonable/nice resort style hotel to stay at before our cruise left out of San Juan. The Caribe is a beautiful resort to stay and we were not disappointed. The beach is beautiful and is private. The pool was large and accomodating and there was never a struggle for lounge chairs. The food was really good but pricey which wasnt to huge of a concern for us. When you are on vacation you know you will be paying top dollar for drinks and food. The ambiance was my favorite part! Very modern syle hotel with a beautiful lobby. Although the rooms are clean and nice, the lobby/surrounding areas is where all the money was spent. Oh and the bed was truly fabulous. Probably the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in. I would absolutely recommend this place. Very close to Old San Juan and just a taxi cab away from all the other Casinos and attractions.

Had a wonderful stay, would certainly come again. Beautiful views, protected beach, variety of activities. Food a little pricey but there are some interesting restauants within walking distance. Felt very safe and the staff was most accomodating. Room was spacious and well appointed.

From start to finish , this resort was top notch . The staff was helpful , and friendly , everywhere we went . Water activities (snorkeling , swimming , watrer aerobics , and just paddling in the ocean was remarkable . The onsite , bar areas , and eateries , were a little pricey , but not unexpected . We even attended a Sunday Mass , right at the resort , Father Hector was Great ! The only negative , was our room ( side ocean view ) was a little noisy early in the morning due to truck traffic delivering supplys . However , we did leave the sliding glass door open to hear the ocean in the evening . Having many travel experences , my lady and I agree , this was one of the best ever !
