My sister and I stayed here to celebrate New Years. This was our first time in New Orleans and we were so pleased with the perfect location. If you are going to party you will be right on Bourbon St. It is somewhat noisy due to the location, but we were there for the party so that was all part of it for us! We had a suite and the room was huge! Lots of etra space and sitting room. Nice view of Canal St from our room. Every staff memeber that we dealt with was very friendly and helpful. Parking at check-in took a while, but that comes with the location. Once we left a car with the valet we didn

Wow! Totally impressed with this hotel conveniently located at corner of Bourbon street and Canal street where all of the action starts. Rooms are more spacious than most hotels in the area and have a touch of modern styling mixed in with the traditional. Service was excellent. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the lighting in the room was bright. Usually I have to bring a 75W bulb with me because rooms are dimly lit. The bathroom however had a standard flourescent light in it which wasn't the greatest. The bathroom was just an average looking hotel bathroom. But the bedroom was beautiful. HIGHLY recommend staying here. Ask for access to the Excecutive Suite on the 4th floor to get free continental breakfast and cocktails between 4pm and 8pm.

we arrived on a Friday afternoon. It took us over one and a half hours to get our car parked! After we finally got checked in our first room was so moldy smelling we asked for another room. At least The front desk clerk was very polite and gave us another room. The second room was a little better but still moldy smelling. The room was dirty and the corners and baseboards had an inch of dust on them.Since we weren't there to spend too much time in the room we just went with it. On Sunday after checking out the valet service loaded about twenty of us on a shuttle bus and shuttled us to the parking garage to get our car ourselves. The amazing thing is that the fee to park our car there was 15 dollars but the valet service through the hotel was 37.50! They were making a handsome profit and making us get our car ourselves!1 There are much better hotels in the French Quarter with much better service so stay away from this one!!

This was my second stay at the hotel. The hotel is in a great location and was really great for the money. The rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. The only negative thing I will say is, if you drive, the whole car retrieval process is kind of a pain. So you definitely want to walk or cab it while staying there if possible.

Hello, We called this hotel before check in to ask if there was any damage and were told there was none. The hotel had water damage from Isaac and instead of being up front about the damage (either over the phone or at check in) they tried to cover it up. Our entire hallway had a strong mildew smell and furniture was even sitting outside of rooms (propped open rooms), I assume to dry out. When I complained about the smell I was told there was nothing they could do and they were full. At check out I asked to speak with a manager about the situation (not because I expected anything but because I felt she should know her staff was not giving out important information). The manager started the conversation with an attitude and basically told me I was lucky to have a room at all. I could have canceled my reseration and stayed elsewhere if I had known the hotel had damage and was trying to sneak it under the stinky rug. Also, the hotel itself and the rooms were not clean. Finally, I requested two adjoining rooms months in advance and they could not accomodate this simple request. I am disappointed in the quality and more importantly the service. EVERYONE I encountered at the front desk had an attitude and seemed annoyed. I understand the circumstances were hard but don't open if you are overwhelmed, understaffed and damaged. I will say the bell men were great!
