My stay at the La Quinta was smooth. Staff was the most friendly, and courteous, I have dealt with in a long time. Breakfast was wonderful. And I was able to take my Pomerian, Maggie.. Pool was a little small, but really enjoyed the whole trip. Oh, yeah, it was close to resturaunts too..

My 2 friends and I stayed here over Labor Day weekend. The room was old, humid, and smelled of mold, and the windows didn't open. There was no shower curtain in the bathroom, and when we brought this up with the front desk, their first reaction was to ask if we wanted to switch rooms. When we answered we just wanted our shower to have a curtain, the lady went into the back and handed us a shower curtain of questionable cleanliness. Now it wasn't difficult for us to put in the shower curtain ourselves, but we would expect to have to do this at a youth hostel, not at a 3-star hotel. There were also a lot of little dogs in the rooms down the hall. I like dogs, but I can imagine it would've been difficult to find any quiet time if you stayed in a room right next to a hyper little dog. On the positive side, the hotel was in a good location, right off the highway and a quick drive to the beach, and the continental breakfast was acceptable.
