There are hardly any charis by th pool, and there is a great pool party w/DJ's etc. however, it is terrible that they make hotel guests who have been at the pool since early morning, evacuate and go downstairs to get a wrist band for the party and access to the pool so you have to fight with a mob of people that aren't hotel guests to get a band, by the time you go back up to the pool area, your chairs and space are gone. They should have a process where they give hotel guests band upon checking into hotel or at the pool area v/s making us waste our vacation/lounge time fighting in a line for access which we have paid for!

I really liked this hotel for the modern feel. I am always down to experience new and interesting places and this one definitely one of those. I really liked the bar up top, had a very nice view of down town. Real relaxed feel and fun hotel. the rooms were a lot of fun and different. only complaint...would have liked a complementry breakfast..:)

The atmosphere was beyond anything we expected. A great location for all the surrounding attractions. The Rooftop was the cherry on top of the whole stay providing music and we never felt the need to go anywhere else to enjoy the nightlife.

  • Adequate, but please fix the drip! The location was why I stayed there.

I'll start off by saying I stayed here because the location was across the street from where I was working for the week. I didn't take advantage of any of the onsite amenities, so I can't comment on them. My room was clean and simple. I like the wall length table below the windows. The bed was super comfy. There was a glass window between the shower and the bed, which was kind of cool, but if you don't want your roomie to be able to see you shower, you might want to opt for somewhere else. The only thing I had a problem with was an annoying drip in my shower. The drip itself wasn't so bad, but every 15 minutes or so, the droplets piled up enough to form a puddle large enough to run down the drain, so I had the starting gurgling of the drain to contend with. :( My second night, I called the front desk and asked if they could send someone to fix the drip the next day. To me, a good front desk rep would have made a note of it and sent someone to do the repair. But this front desk person told me to call or stop by the front desk on my way out the next morning and let them know... which I did. And when I got back from work that evening, there was the drip, and there was the gurgling. So after that, I just laid a towel under the drip to catch it. Housekeeping was probably wondering why I had saturated towels every morning. Sorry - it wasn't me...it was the drip! I would probably opt to stay at a different place the next time, mainly because there was only one onsite restaurant with a limited menu that didn't interest me, so more late-evening dining options within the hotel would suit me better.

My husband and i had wonderful stay. This hotel made us feel welcome. We spent 8 days in LA. The amenities was great. We loved the roof top pool and parties. The only draw back was the parking it was too expensive we thought it was free until after 3 days we discover there was a fee. But over all the hotel is beautiful and will go back again. Great location. Mr.& Mrs. Stanislaus
