In a city where it is faster to walk than taxi, this hotel is excellently situated. The tube is across the road and being on the edge of Hyde Park in Marble Arch meant that getting to Picadilly, Bond Street, even Knightsbridge or Kensington was a quick walk and great exercise. The room was very comfortable with a well stocked mini-bar and coffee maker. Perfect for making a hot chocolate while dealing with jet lag. The bed was extremely comfortable.

The room was very comfortable and clean. The view left something to be desired but it was simply a base of operation. The staff was excellent and very helpful. The concierge was knowledgeable. The pool is special as is the fitness facility. It was an excellent stay and I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Clean and spacious rooms by European standards, comfortable beds, lots of storage, very well-kept, Marble Arch tube station right outside, pool in the basement was a bonus after long days of sight-seeing. Would definitely recommend to friends. We found a nice breakfast spot just up the street (food in the hotel is very expensive) and also dinner at the restaurant right across the street was reasonably priced, good food and very convenient. The concierge service was a bit lacking in knowledge, perhaps because it seemed like they were rotating with other duties rather than having a specific person delegated to concierge duties. We found most of the people on the street knew London better than the concierges. Since we love to wander on our own, this was not a big problem. Overall......a wonderful stay!
