From the decor to the fantastic floral sundecks to the salt water pool - every aspect of this hotel was New Orleans and wonderful. Walking distance to great food, art and music made this the perfect place to stay. Quiet and restful, beautiful and charming - I will never stay anywhere else!

The location was perfect! Just close enough to Bourbon Street without hearing all the late night/early morning party people. The hotel is very nice and quaint. The staff was really helpful in advising best places to eat, see, experience, etc. Went out of their way to help us, and answered tons of questions without getting annoyed. The room itself was really comfortable, and the bed was fabulous. My only complaint is that our room was directly across the stree from the fire station, so anytime there was an emergency, we would hear the loud fire engines blaring. I would definitely go back to this hotel, but I would request a room on the other side of the building.

I stayed at the Bienville House for a few weeknights, so the rate was very reasonable for the quality of the hotel. My room with its luxe four-poster bed, dark wood furniture, and bright clean bathroom was so relaxing and cozy. Unfortunately, the air conditioning wasn't working properly (and it was summer). I told the bellboy, who said he would fix it, but I suspect it never got fixed because it was pretty warm in there. However, the front desk knocked the parking fee off my room for my inconvenience, so that was a nice gesture. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel staff were very friendly. Although it was hard to regulate the temperature of the room and the sound of water dripping was constant, the accommodations were good. Breakfast was served each morning.
