Location, Location, Location! This hotel's got that! Walk out the front doors and across the street and you are on Waikiki Beach. It is at the end of hotel row and right next to the Honolulu Zoo. It is an easy walk to the Waikiki Aquarium. Great views of the ocean and Diamond Head-Decor had a fun Hawaii feel. Staff was courteous- but impersonal. The breakfast buffet was a bit chaotic, but got better as we got used to it, enjoyed eating poolside with entertainment each moring. We felt it a pretty good value, given the location, the breakfast and the quality of the rooms. Good views from the lanai of our room. Easy access to public transportation, as well as door service from the airport shuttle.

Won't stay here again
08/08/2010The room was clean but was to small for 3 people. the bathroom had dirty grout and caulking. bathtub stopper didn't work properly. valet parking is your only option ...
The room was clean but was to small for 3 people. The bathroom had dirty grout and caulking. Bathtub stopper didn't work properly. Valet parking is your only option at a cost higher than the other hotels and the valet customer service? Well lets just say there really wasn't any. The towels were very old and thin. We believe that the room was over priced.

Last stayed here June 2010. This was our fourth stay here. Great value for the money. Always have a wonderful experience staying here. Great location. Close to beach, restaurants and shopping. Breakfast on the beach has a good variety of food from cereal to made to order omelets. Nice views from the rooms. We have stayed in oceanview and oceanfront rooms. Employees very nice and helpful. Love the decor. Its a very comfortable place to stay. Employees at front desk was especially helpful and extremely nice. We would recommend this hotel to friends and family. Actually we have had family stay there and they love it as much as we do. Will go back there again. SOON we hope.

The location of this hotel was great, right across from the beach. They do have a nice breakfast to go. The rooms are efficient but we didn't stay in the rooms that much. The view from the rooms was cool (beach, Diamond Head Mt.). The only disappointment is the pool that closed early everyday at 7pm. I would stay here again if the price is right.

The location was really great. The hotel was very good but we didn't get the room we requested. We had 'double beds' for the honey mooners. All in all we had a great time but mostly I liked the location. It's right on the beach close to everything. Don't rent a car. Take the bus, shuttle or trolly all right there at the Aston. And be sure to get the shuttle from the airport. We didn't and it cost us plenty. The staff were all very nice and helpful every time you met one of them. Aloha!
