Loved being on the water with a balcony to enjoy. Fireplace in the room made it very cozy. Very nice bathroom. Enjoyed a nice dinner in the restaurant...the scallops were to die for. Very easy walk to Pike Place Market which saved us from having to worry about parking.

i give this hotel 2 out of 3 stars. my brother was not ready at check in when 4 of our other rooms were. so we gave them 3 hours. still nothing so we called down they said about 30 min. 45 min later we called down and they said, oh ok we"ll meet you at room whatever the number was. we go there and no one is there. so, my sister-in-law walks down and no one knew what she was talking about. also just not enough amenities for the price.

This hotel has character!! The hotel, staff, restaurant, and bar are all outstanding! They were able to upgrade our room for us toward the end of our stay! The bar/lounge had excellent musicians on the weekend, and the location was convenient to everything! Would definitely stay there again! The only complaint was that the pillows were a little too soft, and the air conditioners don't chill. Not usually a problem in Seattle.

It was not my favorite. Most things were good but the atmosphere really was not my thing. It was not elegant but more woodsy. The hotel shuttle was first come first serve on the hour and you can hardly get on...in fact we never got on and had to use a taxi or walk everywhere. Not many nearby places to eat. We stayed at the Sorrento Hotel before our cruise and it was MUCH nicer! We regretted that we weren't there again. They took you wherever you wanted to go and picked you up when you called and it was a more elegant place. I wouldn't stay here again, due to taste and location. Also, the fireplace stays on at all times:(

Awesome views and bar. Ambiance was top notch. Walking distance to Piers, Space Needle, Pike Place, etc. The only negative was that our room location (non-oceanfront) had exterior building stairs outside of our window where the public could walk. It was not private and we left our drapes shut the entire time as a result, not a huge deal. I did not get to look at the view from an oceanfront but I heard other guests rave about it. There was live music in the hotel bar Friday and Saturday night which was very cool. Overall, if I went back to Seattle again I would definitely pick the Edgewater again. And I almost forgot, the $40/night parking (after tax) was not a fun room charge to pay.
