Upon arrival the valet was warm and welcoming, taking our luggage and escorting us to the front desk. We were greeted by a pleasant young man that made us feel like we had been there a hundred times. Although, we arrived early there was no problem . Our room was beautiful and romantic with the sliding doors opening to a beautiful view through out the day.The ambiance in the restaurant and lounge was warm and the food excellent. We will be back and recommend this hotel for an experience not found just anywhere.

Overall excellent. Pricy food but well worth it. My only problem is I didn't realize the valet charge is 14.00 per parking - I was not told this. Also, the fan did not work in the bathroom... kind of a must if you know what I'm talking about... other than that I will def stay here again, and can't wait to do so.

We made our reservation for a waterview room over a month in advance and felt like they gave us what they "had left" when we arrived at the hotel. Our "water view" room was looking at a side pier and building on a canal, not a panaramic view of Puget Sound. We asked for a different room and was moved toward the end of the pier but still with an obstructed view and adjacent to the elevator. The slider to the balcony would not latch and the dead bolt on the entry door did not line up so it could not be completely secured. The location of the Edgewater was great but we were a bit disappointed.

Simply amazing experience. We arrived a couple hours before check-in, and the guy at the front (Demetrius?) was incredibly courteous and welcoming. He gave us an ocean-view room instead of our city-view and it made all the difference in the world. Absolutely beautiful view. The room was small, but incredibly cozy and the balcony was perfect.

Service was amazing, especially the valet staff. Go to Happy Hour for great food asnd drink prices. Upgrade to waterfront, don't think we closed our curtains once. Loved the fireplace, it is the heat source for the room. Hotel was very, very nice. I have traveled a lot and this was a great location. Valet was $36 a day (plus tax? That tax didn't make sense to me) That would be the only drawback. I will never stay anywhere else in Seattle.
