I bet this hotel was a big hit in 50s-60s. Once you get in the elevator you can definetly feel that the hotel has been around a while.. Looks like the management has made efforts to update the hotel but not completely. i.e. rooms are partially updated. Carpet is in rought shape. no fan in the bathroom, etc. Also I understand that it is hard to keep everything up to date, but I would at least expect to have clean bed sheets--ours had wholes and stains. Also, bed size is an issue. I was told that I had a standard queen--not sure what is meant by "standard", but it was definetly not the right size--maybe a double. On the upside--the hotel is in downtown and it is really easy to get places.

We had 4 rooms, took my young adult children with their partners. My sister and her husband and my husband and I. Went to see their favorite NFL team the NY JETS. We are from LA California. Great weekend getaway, great family memories made.

This hotel is awful. Our bathroom ceiling had stains on it as well as hair stuck on it. The drain in the bathroom did not drain so when taking a shower u had to stand in about 6 inches of water. The toilet seat would not stay up which was a big inconvenience to my husband. The electricity went out twice when I was trying to dry my hair. Told the front desk about all the problems they were not helpful, stated they would have the GM call us he never did. Finally we meet with the GMA and we did get moved to a different room. Do not stay here there ate plenty hotels near by Monaco is across the street I wouldl not waste your money here.

Overall, my experience here was very good. Although I had some concerns coming in with the hotel being a bit older, the room itself was just fine and good value for the money. The bathroom was a bit tight but I saw that they had used the available space well. Everything was clean and stocked just as you would expect and the bed quite comfortable. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Their recommendations for restaurants, parking and waterfront sites were excellent and the directions given easy to understand.
