This was a very cool place, with a total 60s vibe to it. It was also up to date and ready for tomorrow, you can see that when you notice the electric car parking stalls as you head for the front door. The staff is great, the room is very clean with great sized flat screen tv. The hotel is located in nice part of uptown Phoenix with plenty of public transit nearby.

Overall loved my stay, but be careful of the hidden fees. $40 a day hotel fee, AND they tried to charge me $65 for a late checkout. Best part was the quaint and delicious Mexican restaurant on the first floor. The pool and hot tub are also quite nice.

we are a couple in our mid 30's, early 40's and this was a GREAT place, and one we will stay at again. from the outside, one might get a bit nervous, as it's very "oldish 70s looking", but the experience overall outweighs the outdated look of the hotel. It was central enough to the public transport to get downtown (to avoid driving/parking), to great restaurants (other than their own, which was great too), it was quiet, and just unique...so NOT a chain hotel, which was a welcome experience.

We needed a hotel on a last minute basis ,after going to phoenix. We used the last minute service, where you pay, and then your hotel is revealed. According to the description, this was some upscale hotel. We did not find anything upscale at all, and it reminded me of some seedy, painted low class place. The food from the restaurant was horrible, and incidentally you had to go and pick it up yourself. There was no ice machine, and we had to go to the front desk to be given a bag of ice. I will probably never use this type of site again. There was only one way in and out of this place.

Loved the decor of this hotel and nice clean rooms. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Did not get a chance to go to the pool or hot tub, but they seemed nice. The only negative to this hotel was the additional $80 service charge added on. Not really sure why that was an additional charge, but felt it should have been included in the cost of the room up front.
