We liked the place. The staff was very nice and exceeded expectations every time. Room service was faster than they said it would be. Rooms were very clean. Bathrooms were spotless, even in the corners. The restaurant -- Rustic Kitchen is AMAZING. Best fried calamari I've every had, and I've had a lot! Wait staff was friendly and efficient. Walking distance to subway stop and Boston Commons (4 blocks).

My wife & I enjoyed our one night stay at the Revere.....the renovation has given this hotel a very contemporary design; an excellent location with many restaurants to choose from. The mattress in our room was a bit firm for my tastes but other than that.....I had no complaints.

The renovated rooms are in excellent condition - I've never seen a hotel bathroom so clean. No rooms have ever been a "smoking room" which is a huge deal for this non-smoker. The staff were incredibly gracious and helpful, and I look forward to visiting again soon. The only thing I wished for was a little more information about the gym and pool, such as hours of operation for the pool, and a list of equipment available in the gym. The Friday night I stayed was very quiet, but the doors do slam pretty loudly so I am thankful for early night neighbors on my floor. I would recommend asking if any groups are staying in the hotel on your floor if you want guaranteed quiet. I'm still waiting for any hotel to start the "Quiet Floor" option like on trains!

Good hotel, modern renovations
05/24/2012Hotel was nice, clean with modern fixtures, art and renovated rooms. staff was very friendly and with champagne at check in. beautiful views of boston, easy in and easy out.
