I planned this last minute overnight to Chicago to visit family and do a little after Christmas shopping. This hotel offered a wide variety of breakfast items, but you need to get to it early because the line was very long. The valet parking went smoothly and allowed us extra time to shop after check-out. Overall, this hotel offers great suites in a great location!

I would definitely stay there again. The breakfast buffet was extensive and a great deal. We didn't end up using the evening receptions that were available. The other patrons seemed fine too - lots of families. The location was great - we easily got to magnificent mile, Water Tower Place for shopping, and the Art Institute via public transit. When I entered the suite I could immediately tell it was clean - nice clean smell in the non-smoking room. We also had a nice view of the Wrigley Building, etc. Hotel layout is nice. Interactions with the hotel staff were positive. Had never stayed at Embassy suites before but I will again - so nice to have that extra room for the luggage and gathering of 3 adult guests!

Great value, long elevator waits in the morning.

Service was awesome from start to finish. The rooms were a nice size because the bedroom was separate from the living room area. The walls might be a bit thin, as we could hear people talking in their bathroom next door. The managers reception had free drinks at the bar in the evening and a nice free breakfast buffet in the morning. Although, be prepared to wait in line for these free services during peak season. Walking distance to practically all the major attractions in the city or to the subway red line. I would definitely stay here again.
