I booked with Marriott expecting quality accommodations and received an experience I would expect from a lower-end name. I stayed for six nights and in that time noticed the hallways and elevator weren't cleaned. My room had crumbs and dirt in the corners and behind the furniture and there were crumbs in the microwave. There was a piece of plastic that I found on the floor of my room when I checked in and it was still there when I checked out. The hotel boasts that it provides toiletries and it completely ran out of conditioner. While the hotel offered free breakfast, it was all processed food. The free wi-fi was extremely slow and the channel selection on the television was limited. Perhaps I'm just used to the "big city" living where there are higher standards and this is acceptable for smaller cities.

The only real issue was with the business center's printers not operational. This, I believe was a temporary situation due to the recent remodeling and the router servicing the printer was not connected. However, the staff graciously offered the use of the Hotel's computer and printer to print the boarding passes for our flights.

Establishment was close to airport...less than 2 minutes away. Hotel staff very friendly, have in room internet access, spacious, clean and of quality. Breakfast is okay, but would like more options. Only have waffles, bagels, toast, sausage, eggs (scrambled/boiled), cereal, juice, milk, oatmeal. Would most definitely stay here again and would recommend to others.

We planned very last minute to take our daughters of 4 and 5 years old to a beach weekend, ended up being the perfect weekend! This hotel has lots of friendly staff, continental breakfast is pretty good and the rooms are spacious.
It is a little bit appart from the beach (like 15-20 min, not bad) but is in a good location to go to the beach, museums, downtown, etc... at Sarasota. I really enjoyed my stay there and would highly recommended.
