It started off badly with a very long, very slow moving line to check in. The room was on the seventh floor and had one small window that was dirty and let in very little natural light and had an ugly view (what could be seen through the dirt and grime) of the roof top of the building next door. The carpeting was old and dingy. The cold water tap let out a very loud screeching, sound every time we turned it on both bathroom sink faucets had a gross white residue. The TV was nice and so was the bathtub. Also, everywhere you are bombarded with old loud rock music.

This was a girls trip with my best friend to celebrate my birthday. We were given an upgrade on our room upon check in; and the person at the front desk accommodated our departing "Red Eye Flight" with super late check out at no additional charge. Our room was wonderful. The bathroom was huge: double sinks, large shower, tub, and toilet closet. The beds were so comfortable, they get 5 stars!! The Spice Market Buffet (located inside Planet Hollywood) was very good. It was very clean & affordable with a variety from around the world. Planet Hollywood is connected to a shopping mall with places to eat & shop. There are also two theaters located inside the mall. We visited both theaters and enjoyed both shows. We literally did not step outside the property the first two days we were there. I visit Las Vegas 2-3 times a year, Planet Hollywood will be my 1st choice of hotels from now on.

We stayed at Planet Hollywood as it was listed as a 4 hotel and the price was right. The room was average, showing some wear and tear. the bathroom looked to be upgraded, and was quite large. The biggest problem with this hotel is that the hotel is separated from the parking structure by a shopping mall. Once you park, you need to walk through the mall (you need to circumnavigate half of it) to get to the hotel. This is at least a 10 minute walk. Then you need to walk through the casino (which is a fairly dark, smokey maze) to find the elevators to the hotel. One of the reasons we stayed at Planet Hollywood is that it offered 2 free breakfasts at their buffet. The buffet turned out to be terrible; much of the food was cool or cold, so obviously it had been made the night before. Temperature aside, it did not taste very good either. Internet was $15.00 a day, which negated the lack of a resort fee.

Enjoyed our stay at PH,they actually upgraded us to a Suite as we were only staying 1 night. Very nice room, not the greatest view, but I wasn't going to complain. We were there for a concert, which was located right next to PH. This was convenient as it was cold outside.

01/03/2013Our room was a good size, very comfortable beds, clean, loved the steeping tub. staff was friendly, and had answers to all my questions.
