Had a great four day stay. This perfect hotel is located in the Gaslamp district, next to great food and entertainment galore - 1 and 1/2 block form Petco ball park and across from the Convention Center. Used the fitness, weight room, pool and hot tub ever day - it was clean and well maintained. Judy and her hotel staff and Zach (UA grad) and his valet boys were very hospitable and thorough. Rooms were sapcious, clean and the beds were fantastic. Will defintely stay here on our next visit. My little secret journey was the walk/workout from climbing the multi-level steps across the street, which passed through the convention center area to the waterfront - great views and the walkway along the shoreline and marina was scenic and led to Seaside Village.

Beautifully set near the waterfront and perfectly placed at the edge of the Gaslamp district. Everything within walking distance and the ideal place to stay if San Diego is a stopping point before or after going on a cruise.

Very convenient location in the gas lamp district and across the street from the convention center, but there is a train than runs late into the night (past 11 pm) that blows its horn multiple times as it passes by the hotel. The hotel does provide ear plugs. The staff was very courteous and amenities were above average.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a quick getaway and this was the perfect spot. The hotel is situated in the heart of DT San Diego so we walked everywhere. Restaurants are lined up on every street so there was always somewhere to eat or grab a cocktail. The hotel itself was a bit small they had a small resturant in the lobby where we got free appetizers that were not that tastey and when I asked them to make me one of my specialty Mojitos only using 1.5oz of Bacardi Limon they charged me $14 that should have been a $8 drink MAX. The Bathrooms in the room are TINY. I am a 95lb girl and even I felt cramped. There was a nice flatscreen TV though and the view was great.
