The hotel was clean and somewhat quiet. The fact that it was a room at the front of the hotel and it is in DC and 2 blocks from The White House, sirens and cars. And the fact that hotels on the East Coast do not carry any PEPSI products it was a very nice stay.

From the entrance until we left, everyone made us feel at home, the hotel and staff was awesome, the restaurant was great at night, the pool was nice for kids, very convenient location, a must do again, thanks to all the staff! All was great but one person stood out above all, Deangelo made all of us feel very special and comfortable.

Right across the street from a Metro stop and just a hop, skip, and a jump from The White House, there is no better place to stay, for the money, for DC sightseeing. Fly into DCA, avoid rental cars (and the exhorbitant parking), and see DC on foot and using public transport - the best!! Local dining options are plentiful and everything on your sightseeing itinerary is easily accessible from this central location. Accomodations were surprisingly roomy for a downtown property and staff were attentive, even to a family with 2 young kids only staying 1 night. Hotel restaurant, indoor pool, and internet included - a plus!
