i have stayed here 2 other times in the past, and this time was by far the worst experience here. The desk staff is friendly and helpful upon check out, and they have an eCheckout where you just text your room number to them and it checks you out, so that saves a lot of time. If you're going to be in Vegas to do stuff outside the casino, and not stay on this property, then this is a good value because it's cheap. if you're going to be staying here a lot, and walking around inside, you dont want to stay here. This place has people at virtually every major traffic point inside the hotel and casino trying to get you to go see their new place they built and try to get you to buy into it. it's the most annoying thing i've ever experienced. If this place was not located in a good spot, and was not as cheap as it is, i would give it a 0 rating if I could....

checkin and checkout is a nightmare. You need to stand in a long long line and everyone gets a tip. Communication between the different departments is none existent. They really need to take some hospitality seminars. The guests are their bread and butter. They only department that I would compliment would be the valet/taxi guys. I would not return to the Excalibur for another stay. They encourage you to signup for the Mlife program but fail to tell you what you need to do at Checkout. We stood in three separate lines for a total of 30 minutes just to checkout and the lines were not long. Auwe!

this hotel offered no comps for the price we payed you don't even get complimentary coffee. the beds we very uncomfortable very hard. I had to call the front desk with a problem with the bthroom and was waiting for someone to answer for at about 3-5 min. It was my first time in Vegas and I guess I just expected more I liked the exterior of the hotel but the inside was just boring.
