This hotel is in a great location, with free amenities such as free continental breakfast and internet (not wireless though). We received a free upgrade and should have known why! It was because part of the blinds were ripped off and every morning the sunlight shines in WAY too bright. So beware of any free upgrades!! Otherwise this hotel is worth the price.

This newly-refurbished boutique hotel had all of the amenities of the larger hotels and more. The front desk couldn't have been nicer, the bell boys stored luggage and retrieved it promptly, and I used their tour desk to book a day-long excursion to see O'ahu's top spots. In the room, the AC was quiet and effective; there was a small fridge, microwave and coffee-maker. The bed was quite comfy and linens were immaculate. It was also a plus that the hotel was on a quiet street yet near a grocery store and restaurants, and only one block from a city bus stop, which let you explore areas outside of Waikiki. Too bad that the rooms afforded their travel agency guests were tiny! I'd stay here again in an instant, but I'd see if I could get a larger room even if I had to pay a bit more.

We stayed at the Aqua Aloha Surf and Spa in Waikiki, We were very disappointed with the hotel their breakfast consisted of pancakes, toast, pineapple, oranges, and muffins everyday the same thing. no jellies only syrup. Then our experience with their room service they wanted to change the sheets once every three days. In our seven night stay we had to be moved four times. The first night we couldn't sleep because the sliding glass door wouldn't close and the door leading to the other room wouldn't lock so they rattled all night, then the moved us to another room which was much smaller and we found roaches in the room, We then were moved to another room, When we turn on the lights in that room the roaches all started running from on top of the nightstand and we then complained and were moved to another room . over all it was the worst experience ever. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone ever. our stay was the worse and the hotel refused to reimburse us for the extra fees charge for a superior view room.

Everything was adequate for the time and expense we outlayed for our trip. Hotel was located within walking distance from the main tourist sites of Honolulu, including Waikiki beach and the International Market Place. All we needed was a place to sleep and get prepared for the next day's adventure. We didn't need or want to spend all our time in the hotel.

Our stay mirrored most of the comments below. Room was on 2nd floor, street side and VERY noisy as mentioned below. Good location, one block from major bus lines. If you don't mind walking a bit, the location is good. We didn't mind walking. Room clean, sheets very nice. Bed was a bit soft for me, but my brother didn't mind his. Towels were better than expected for this hotel. Better than your standard LaQuinta. Would I stay here again? Maybe. If traveling with family - sure. With a GF or spouse, perhaps not. I might pay a bit more for a hotel on the beach. Free breakfast hours were only from 7:00 - 8:30am, so get up early if you want to eat. Room is crowded and pancakes and oatmeal are the standard fare every day. The Food Pantry or ABC Store around has goodies you can put in your in room fridge. Should mention that the entire staff was very friendly.
