- The Marina Tower is a separate condominium building located next to the Equus Hotel. Guests staying in the Marina Tower must proceed to the front desk located in the Equus lobby for check in.
Please note that there is a short flight of stairs from street level to The Equus lobby. Please contact front desk for luggage assistance.

This property is two separate hotels...an updated 'boutique' hotel, small rooms that feel fresh, and a worn out condo style tower (out first room there had bugs) and you don't get to pick where they put you. Stayed in the older 'Tower' 7 years ago and it looked identical last week. Book elsewhere.

THIS PLACE WAS STRAIGHT UP NASTY!!!
09/26/2012From the minute i arrived, i got nervous.....i went to my room, and the door didnt lock, so i called maintenance first....then, they said they couldnt fix it.... ...
FROM THE MINUTE I ARRIVED, I GOT NERVOUS.....I WENT TO MY ROOM, AND THE DOOR DIDNT LOCK, SO I CALLED MAINTENANCE FIRST....THEN, THEY SAID THEY COULDNT FIX IT.... SO I ASKED WHAT THE KEY CODE WAS FOR THE INTERNET, THEY SAID I HAD TO GET ON THE INTERNET IN THE LOBBY.....NO INTERNET WAS IN THE ROOMS.......SO I CALLED another hotel and made immediate reservations. As I went back downstairs, another guest was screaming about the condition of his ROOM ! How it wasnt clean, ALL WEEK...nasty hair everywhere in the shower from the previous over night guest. on and on....it was horrible......all in all this hotel was STATE OF THE ART......NASTYFIED!!!

This Hotel is in a great location just two blocks from the Hilton Hawaiian Village for shopping and dining. Also two blocks from the beach beautiful beach! And accross the street from Outback. The Hotel doesn't look like much on the outside but the rooms are very nicely done with antiques not your typical hotel furniture. The downside there is no room service. But it is within walking distance to everything including Mall which is huge!! Very Clean. And the staff was very helpful. For the price compared to staying in the Hilton you can't beat it!!

I really loved my stay at the hotel. First I was allowed to move into my room at noon when i arrived even though check in was not till 3 pm. I was welcomed with a great smile and a refreshment. The room was cute and super clean and the bed truly a dream. Everyone I met who worked at the hotel was very friendly and accomedating and sincere. My belongings were held for me while I went to the beach after I had checked out not leaving till later that day. I truly can recommend the Equuus, a place run with true Aloha.
