We were celebrating our 25th wedding Anniversary & wanted to stay at a 4 star hotel or better. This was the best 4 star for the money. We were in Honolulu 25 years ago for our Honeymoon and the Hotel was not this nice. It was super clean and very nice friendly staff. We had the perfect view for the big parade for Aloha Week. That was awesome and brought back a lot of memories. This Hotel had a safe and a refrigerator in the room. The bed was super comfortable and we had a huge deck with a small table and 2 chairs. The room was nicely decorated in a minimalist style with very tranquil tones. It could not have been better. :) We will stay again and will not wait 25 years to get there.

The hotel room assigned first assigned to us was not cleaned properly. In particular, the bathroom was visibly dirty. We were immediately reassigned to another room. Excellent staff service and convenient location to shopping, dining, and beach access.

Surrounded with restaurants and shopping , the location is perfect! It's sitting on top of Macys and surrounded by The International Marketplace .The beach is across the street from the hotel and the crosswalk is straight across from the hotel entry. The stores in the lobby can meet most needs. The hotel staff are all full of the Aloha spirit....and it shows! We stayed on the ocean side on both of our visits...the view was better than expected, even on only the third floor.The valet parking attendants are the best in Waikiki!! I would highly recommend the Holiday Inn Beachcomber Resort for your vacation stay on Oahu....I've already booked my next stay there!! Aloha!

Excellent location for me, as I'm not a beach-goer. I had a room close to the top of the hotel and was able to enjoy views of the ocean and the mountains from my balcony. Was attending a wedding with celebrations at venues a short walk on either side of the hotel, so my location was perfect. Hotel is across the street from the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Mall and beach access for those who want it. Jimmy Buffet's restaurant is in the hotel, but after sitting for 10 minutes without anyone coming to take my order, I left and went to the Cheesecake Factory across the street (singles take note - there's a bar/counter at the very back of the Factory where you can often grab a seat and avoid the long line at the front of the restaurant). Hotel room was comfortable - small but serviceable for one, clean and quiet at night.

My husband and I spent Christmas in Hawaii at the Holiday Inn Beachcomber and were treated like honored guests. The hotel was clean, the staff was pleasant and helpful. We will be heading back again.
