Older hotel but the staff was very helpful and friendly and the room was clean. Our air conditioner did not work the best and upon informing the staff they said they were extremely busy but would get up to the room as sOon as possible. When the second day came and still no one the hotel reimbursed us our resort fee. As we only really slept there and spent most of the time out and about we thought that was great. Lots of restaurants, bars, and shops close enough to walk to and not have to go outside being connected to two other hotels. Was a great place to stay on short notice. Only downfall was it was smoker friendly.

I dont like having to pay a "resort fee" that most of the hotels in vegas now charge as I dont use the internet, the gym, or get the newspaper. That being said, the luxor was very clean and the staff very helpful. we used the free tram connecting the mandalay bay hotel with the luxor and the excalibur. We stayed on vacation with older children and they enjoyed the pool

I had stayed at the Luxor a few years back and it was very nice. this time however I felt as if they put us in a wing of the hotel that was off the main path and this wing was in need of some updating. When we first arrived the bathroom sink was slow running and had to be repaired or it would over flow. There were some plaster and chipped ceramic around the base board in the bathroom. The wallpaper in places was peeling and the curtains in the bedroom had a water spot on them. The smoke alarm had a plastic bag (see thru) wrapped around it (?). The air conditioner would only go so high so a few times I thought it had stopped working but my husband does not like the room cold so I did not complain. I was very disappointed this time in the accommodations provided by the Luxor; this was not 4 star.
