Staying at the Luxor hotel and casino was a great experience. The room was comfortable and definitely something you don't expect from a regular hotel room. Staying in a pyramid does make everything seem very exotic and the Egyptian decor is very unique. It was nice to have everything you could want or need close by. Now to the negatives about the hotel. First trying to get ice was an experience. The nearest ice machine was not working so it meant walking all the way around the pyramid which could take 10 minutes or more. Also it was never revealed to me until check in that there would be an $80 resort fee and to this day I am still not sure what that was for. It said something about free internet but when I tried to access it there was another fee for that also. Another problem was that the air conditioner did not work very well. I am not sure if there was a limit to how cold the room could be but it always seemed very warm in the room and in a building where the sun beats down all day long it can make things very warm. Other than those things the room was nice and the staff was very accommodating. I think spending a little more on improvements and a little less on hidden fees would have made it the perfect experience.

Im stay 4 days for the fight event and the hotel was very clean, excellent service. Very near to the strip. you can walk. Dont et in the buffet, the food doesnt have to much variety and most of them have alot of fat and fried food. If you want a good buffett go to Bellagio or Paris, you wont regret!!!

I enjoyed my time at the Luxor. I had heard some not so good reviews, however the Tower room was pretty good. The amenities were pretty good really like the bathroom layout and the 40 inch flatscreen in the room. Hotel has a very popular nightclub which I enjoyed.
