This is our second time at Dreams Cancun and the second time was even better. The staff were friendly and accomodating. My children (ages 5 and 9) thought the Kid's club was awesome...there were different structured activities every hour. Food was terrific for an all-exclusive resort. There was lots to do for my family so we didn't need to leave the resort except to do a bit of shopping at the market. We were able to pay for snorkelling and a banana boat ride right on the beach. There were also Seadoo rentals and parasailing right on the beach. We tipped for the services and found the staff very appeciative. We recommended this resort to friends who came with us this time and they kept raving about the hotel and it's service. We would definitely stay at this resort again.

Me and my husband loved this place. In fact this year when we booked our vacation we are staying at one of Dreams' other resorts. Great Place, Food good, Staff great. Coco Locos are the best drinks there!!

We had a great family vacation. The staff was wonderful and very helpful/friendly. But the hotel itself doesn't belong to so called luxury hotels. Everything is pretty simple. This hotel is the best for the families with kids between ages 4 to 11. If your kids are younger or older, you can look for better deals. The kids club is THE BEST! Simply the best!!! But, if your child is under 3, he is not accepted their, and there is no playground or any safe play area for kids to play, except kids club. There is nothing fancy about this hotel. The shows are below average. We are traveling a lot and were not impressed with either shows or food. There were not lots of choices of meal, and the food was pretty salty. So, you got the idea if this hotel is for you or not. We stayed in Riu Palace Las Americas before and this place is much fancier, then Dreams. So, you better go their, except if you are traveling with kids. Then Dreams is your resort of choice.

My wife and I just came back from a great vacation at Dreams. Hotel upgraded our room to an ocean front suite and the room was fantastic. The balcony was less than 30 ft from the ocean (I strongly recommend an ocean front room, Dolphine view is good for one day but you may get tired of it soon). The staff was very helpful and friendly. The buffet was OK and provided a variety of food that some people liked but the food and service at Oceana and the view at the other small restaurant by the beach was fantastic. The late night music and the atmosphere at the bar was great. Although we didn't take chilren with us but we noticed a lot of activities geared for kids. The only problem was the small pool for that size hotel and the fact that all the chairs by the pool and ocean were gone by 10 AM. We soon learned that everyone took a chair and put a towel or book at breakfast time. I strongly recommend this hotel for a romantic getaway and family vacation.

Dreams hotel did a great job of providing activities for all ages. All the staff was friendly, had a good sense of humor, and worked hard to ensure we had all that we needed. Rooms were cleaned in the morning and they provided turn down service and cleaned the bathroom a second time each day. We were a group of 11 people and were able to get a table together for dinner every night we dined together. The beaches were not crowded at all so we could pull up a lounge chair to relax. Towards the end of the week more spring breakers began to arrive and it got a bit more crowded, but still able to enjoy all the amentities.
The food was always good at the sit down restaurants. The buffet provided a wide variety of choices for kids and adults. We didn't do a lot of the hotel acitivites, but those who did enjoyed the variety offered throughout the day. The views from the balcony of our room was fabulous - ocean view and sunrise every morning. We also got to watch the dolphins play everyday as they are located right at the hotel.
The Spa provided a variety of services. I got a massage that was very relaxing and enjoyable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is going to Cancun.
