Not sure why previous reviews were negative. The rooms here are nice, new and clean. Lobby is a bit bland but fine. The staff is friendly. Parking is $* per day but after hours and on weekends the lot for the office to the North is available. The restaurants breakfast quality is just OK.

The phone didn't work and we were charged for phone calls that we couldn't make. The front desk did remove them after a short discussion. The staff was very polite and the hotel was conveniently located near the convention center. They did send a shuttle the airport for us and that was a great plus. I would stay there again.

When I checked in it took the blonde manager and her friend about 10 minutes to notice me. When I was finally checked in the room smelled and I called down to see if I could change, same lady answered the phone and told me I was "out of Luck" we are sold out. Funny - I hardly noticed anyone staying during my stay - and the parking lot was empty. (maybe that's because they charge $10) So I stayed in my stinky room, decided to go relax at the "pool" that is actually a steel tub, seems very dangerous, very small and obviously no one pays any attention to maintaining it. I found the staff generally uninterested in being there. Restaurant was like eating in a cafeteria - strange decor and uncomfortable steel chairs. Food was hideous, I was expecting the Famous New Mexico Chile I hear about - no authentic cuisine served here.
