We've stayed at the Seneca many times in the past, but this last time we were so disappointed that we left early. The room was in terrible condition with lumpy carpet and beat up furniture. The bathroom was just gross. We had confirmed reservations for a large suite, but were put in a small, smelly room and told nothing better was available. The new owners need a lesson in customer service!

Our first visit to Chicago and we loved the city! Hotel is in a wonderful location, quiet, with an efficient staff. Easy walking distance to Magnificent Mile shopping. Nice complimentary breakfasts. Also try the Saloon Restaurant, it's super! Room was large & clean, but bathroom tiny, noisy fan, kitchen sink dripped, room?s door lock hard to open especially after a few cocktails! So it needs some regular maintenance to fix those little things, but overall was a charming hotel and we would stay there again.
