I booked this hotel due to its low price and when I started reading some reviews, I got really scared of what I would find when I got there. Nightmares slithered through my head for days as I thought I made the worst choice I possibly could. However, when I got there, it was totally fine. This is a completely normal hotel, nothing too horrible. The bathroom is a tad small, but who cares honestly? Everything seemed clean, it was really close to the train station, and the lobby workers were super nice. The internet kind of fails a little bit when it came to getting a signal, but it wasn't that important and they seem really generous about switching your room if it's necessary. I still was able to use it when I needed to. So seriously, don't be too scared to go here. It's nice, and it's one of the cheaper hotels to go to.

The hotel put me in the middle of school groups for both nights - late at night, I was treated to hours of screaming kids running up and down the halls, pounding on doors and asking where the party was. In addition, the front desk tried to charge me $*/night over the rate at which I'd reserved the room. I asked them to check, they claimed it was the right rate. Fortunately, I was able to show them the confirmation on my own laptop at the lower rate.

This hotel is in a great location, close to the T and the Prudential Center. For the price, compared to other hotels in the area, it's a great deal. It's not a fancy place, but was clean and had a very friendly and helpful staff.

We stayed at the Midtown Motel, it is in a great location if you are into walking and close to Fenway etc.... The room was clean and well kept. If you are in to watching some tv while you are away, they are small and very far from the beds so it is even smaller when chilling out. Over all the experience was wonderful. The bellhops are awesome. The font desk for the most part was awesome, one was miserable looking. hello welcome to boston would have been nice but everyone else made up for him.

We just spent 7 nights in this hotel. It is very run down. The wall paper in our room was peeling off the walls, holes in the carpet which was not vacuumed everyday, water stains on the ceilings and a large black dust area near the vent on the ceiling. The television only worked 4 of the 7 days we were there and the maid actually yelled at us for not using the "maid make up room" card correctly, probably due to some teenager thinking it was funny to flip the do not disturb side over. The air conditioning barely worked, we set the thermostat at 40 degrees just to keep the room temp at 80 which is fairly brutal for an August visit. Every "ammenity" comes with a price tag, and the lobby furniture had about an inch of dust on it. By the second day we were regretting not spending the extra money for a better hotel.
