I found my 8-day stay to be extremely enjoyable primarily due to the warmth and friendliness of the hotel staff. I have a bad back, and I normally have trouble sleeping in a hotel bed, which are normally too soft or the pillows are too soft. This was not the case at the Angeleno. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the pillows were mixed with soft and firm. The room was neat and clean. I found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful, particularly the desk clerk during the morning hours. I believe her name is Edith. She was extremely helpful in assisting in arranging for tours and was always interested in hearing how things went. The same is true for the desk clerk on Sunday morning. She too was very helpful in providing directions and making suggestions to make my visit a memorable one. During my visit, the 405 was being repaired that resulted in Church lane being closed in the evening. The hotel staff, particularly the staff that took care of my car were extremely helpful in suggesting routes to avoid the mess created by the highway repairs. This was my first visit to Los Angeles, and the staff at the Angeleno provided me with an extremely happy experience. A return visit to Los Angeles will certainly include staying at the Angeleno.

very accessible, right off the 405. pool area very comfortable with fire pit, lounge chairs, etc. some rooms have good views. free shuttle service to getty museum ~ 5' drive up the hill - very convenient. restaurant has excellent food.

I wanted to stay in Venice Beach, but the hotels were too expensive, so I broadened my search and ended up staying here, in Bel Air. The hotel is very nice, the people are fantastic (especially the girl at the poolside grill,) the rooms are great, and the hotel is right off the freeway for easy access to everywhere. We enjoyed the free wine at happy hour, and the brunch on Sunday. We played scrabble at the pool by the fireplace, and really enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

The Holtel was centrally located to the places we wanted to visit and see in Santa Monica and LA. The express way and main streets were easily excessable. However being so close to the express the room was very noisy and it was hard to fall asleep.
