I traveled here for work, and had a great experience overall. Flew into Midway, and had a 25 minute train ride and under 10 minute walk to the hotel. Cheap and easy to get here from the airport! Ended up with a great view of the Chicago river from my room. Quiet room, comfortable bed, and many amenities nearby. Multiple options for conveience items and a quick bite to eat: 7-11's, Chipotle, Rite-Aid, Noodles, etc. Also offers excellent proximity to Miracle Mile shopping.

The Hyatt staff was courteous and knowledgable. The front desk lines were manageable. Waiting for a cab was an easy experience since the staff volunteers to help with this process. The room and decor was great. The room was clean, spacious and the bath water was actualy hot when needed. We had a fabulous view of the city, especially since it was the air and watershow weekend. It was nice to actually enjoy spending time in a hotel room rather than just using it for a bed and shower experience. The price was reasonable for the time of year. We did not hear the neighbors or kids running down the halls while we were there. I definitely recommend this hotel to others who are seeking an affordable hotel that is clean, spacious and modernized.

We had a late check-in and found our room had not been cleaned at all. (Our son's family remained on the original 10th floor so were back there several times during our stay. The hallway outside our first room was not cleaned during our four day visit.) We were moved to another room and given access to complimentary breakfasts and snacks. We were also not charged for our one room service meal. The hotel is in a great location and the staff is very friendly; we were just a little concerned about housekeeping after that episode. One other concern was that there was almost no drawer space in our room.
