The room was clean, great view and excellent beds and nice big bath towels. I had a nice view of the the beach and the street below. I was not bothered by noises at night. Guy, the front desk person was excellent. He was so helpful to me. I needed directions to a store out of the Waikiki and right away he looked it up and printed it out for me.

This hotel doesn't offer onsite food or amenities as a lot of other hotels do but what it lacks is right there on the same street. The location is perfect between shopping and across the street from the beach. Nothing is better than walking 1 minute from your hotel to the water of Hawaii. I would stay here again any day of the week. The rooms are small but the price is right and the location is even better. I have no complaints.

I have visited Honolulu twice in the last 4 years and stayed here both times due to its proximity to the Waikiki strip. This is not a Hilton or resort so do not take it as so. It is a simple hotel in a perfect location. Walk out through the lobby and right onto the Waikiki strip. Mc Donalds right next door for breakfast, across the street from the world famous Waikiki Beach, and turn right to walk down the strip for countless street shows restraunts and shopping. We would stay here again if it is my wife and I only. Parking is a nightmare if you dont land one of the few spots they have under the hotel which is supposed to be first come first serve. You have to park at the Banyon Hotel 2 blocks away.

Ive stayed here now 3 times. For its location and private balcony I feel that its a steal at the going rate. Staff is always very nice and remembered me by name the 2nd year i showed up. The rooms are on the small size but honestly the only time i was in the room i was sleeping. The hotel hands out towels to guest to use on the beach...its right accross the street. Plus so many great resteraunts, and things do in walking distance.
