This hotel needs refurbishment sooner or later. It's definitely a good value for money and the concierge is friendly and wiling to help you out. Good guy! What I don't understand is that you need to pay for the WIFI at $12,95 per day, per device! That's imho unacceptable in 2012.

The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful during my stay. It is convienient to almost everything. I would recommend it to anyone who has business in downtown DC and it would be an excellent location for a DC vacation.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for our anniversary. The staff is really excellent. The room was nice. Good bar at the hotel. The hotel's location is perfect for touring DC as it is only a block or two from a Metro station.

Our 8-day stay at the Hamilton Crowne Plaza was a sheer delight ! Arriving from France to celebrate the New Year with our daughter, we appreciated the warm welcome and our equally warm and spacious corner room. Spotlessly clean, quiet and comfortable, it was a refuge from the bitter cold outside ! Which did not prevent us from visiting the White House, Museums and other sights, within easy reach of the hotel. We also appreciated the cosy bar and street-level dining-room where hearty breakfasts set us up for each new day of discovery. For us, the Hamilton Crowne Plaza was a perfect blend of elegant architecture, interior warmth, with the added bonus of a helpful and friendly staff.
