This hotel is really located well. Lots of places to eat within sight of the hotel. Only one block from the magnificent mile and right in the middle of it. Parking is a bit expensive fifty four dollars for each night you stay and it takes them awhile to get your car. Over all great place to stay!

There are some thinks we liked about this hotel, cleanliness, definitely location and price. However, not sure that offsets the sounds of ambulances during the night (too close to hospital emergency room) or the thin walls (could hear couple next door arguing). Will probably pick a different hotel next time in Chicago.

Stayed for 3 nights Pros:Check in was fast and pleasant. Hotel is in great location, comfy bed. Cons: 1st room had faint smell of smoke, I requested new room and 2nd room was ok- walls and carpet fairly dinged up and overall expecting room to be cleaner-especially bathroom, glasses provided in room were dirty, no pen and paper and no remote for TV in the room , requested new coffee machine becuase ours was broken-but our request was ignored, pool area felt a bit grimy. Overall not horrible but most likely will choose another hotel next time.

My husband and I spent the night at the Wyndham in downtown Chicago. The staff, right fromt he start were friendly, helpful and just plain nice. Our room was OK, have stayed at better, but the bed, was one of the best, most comfortable that we had ever slept on! The location was perfect, allowing us to was to the Magnificant Mile and literally shop til we drop. One negative, the price for parking was half of what we paid for the room. But, that's Chicago -
