The Omni Parker House will be my choice anytime I need a hotel in Boston. Due to snow conditions in Delaware our train did arrive at 1:30 am. The staff was great, helping a sleepy 8 year old. The small backpack gift with interesting goodies perked her up. Beds were extremely comfortable and breakfast was elegant. A good stay in a very lovely old hotel in the center of Boston.

The staff is fantastic! If I needed anything, they were more than happy to help. The experience exceeded my expectations. I will definitely stay there again!! The concierge was very knowledgeable and helpful with me getting to various destinations, and suggested activities that made my stay memorable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

I hadn't stayed at the Parker House in 20 years. Last visit was short notice and I got one of the "closet" rooms previously. This time I took advantage of upgrading to a suite and it was excellent. Spotlessly clean, top floors, quiet, great views of the North End, nice bed and a perfect place to work. Room service was typical price but good quality. Had dinner and breakfast in the dining room, very good service and food each meal for us and the group I was with. Excellent location, good service but not over bearing or fake. Old school hotel, service, quality and a good value. If you can swing it, upgrade to a suite and you'll pay less then other hotels standard room and enjoy your stay in Boston so much more. Obviously the smaller rooms are a drag, but it's a budget thing for most people. The staff is very good, accommodating and works to please from what I saw. If you like grand old city hotels, the Parker House is worth the trip. One thing that changed is The Last Hurrah moved from the old basement/street level location to the front of the hotel and is a big improvement. Nice bar, good service, great people watching. I know the reviews are all over the board, but it's a reflection of the age of the place, older/small rooms, etc, but the suites and bigger rooms are a great value for most people. Give it a shot but temper your expectations.

This was a very beautiful hotel that is central to all of Boston's hot spots and in easy walking distance to everything. The first thing I noticed on entering the room was how clean it was. Unfortunately, we were unfortunate enough to have some very rude neighbors who refused to honor the NO SMOKING policy that is enforced, not only in this hotel, but in every hotel in Boston. The smoke from these ignorant people was horrible. I have an allergy to smoke and found this very difficult to deal with. I complained to the staff several times and even though they were very gracious and understanding, it was soon apparent that they were not able to do anything about this. These same people also woke us up at 2am running in the halls, screaming loudly and banging on peoples doors, ours included. For such a prestigious hotel, I was very dissapointed that they didn't have these people removed. At the very least I felt that they could have offered us another room on another floor, but they did not. The manager on sunday morning was very understanding and kind and offered us breakfast on the house in the hotel dining room. I feel that had we stayed another time we would have loved this hotel, we were just unlucky enough to stay when some complete ignorant animals also happened to be staying at the same time.

The hotel was nice overall, but the bathroom was small so there was no where to put my toiletries next to the sink. They had free internet access if you join their rewards club which just takes a few minutes.
