The hotel is beautiful clean and contemporary. With in walking distance of some really nice restaurants and really good shopping. If that is all that matters to you than sure. Go for it. My experience however was less than ideal. I was part of a 4 girl bachelorete weekend. We arrive at check in only to be told that all the rooms were full. How can that be when we booked our stay months in advance? well the gentleman at the counter politely informed us that they over booked the hotel and they would move us to one of their sister hotels. We drove all the way from South Jersey. So all his insistence about free taxi transport as an apology fell on silent stone washed faces Our issue was that 1. We didn't book the sister hotel 2. the man had never even been to the sister hotel, so he didn't know what to say when we asked for a description 3. There was little to be done to accommodate our trouble. Luckily we are jersey girls and are skilled at making things go our way. Long story short we ended up staying at the Bentley, with free parking A bottle of champagne on the house and nothing but smiles and yes mam's the rest of our stay, only after about a half hour of conversation with the front desk man and a bride almost in tears. So all I am going to stay is if you book here, Have a back up plan.

The customer service was very friendly, and the valet park employee help get a cab for me. But if you want to be where the bright lights are at you will have to catch a cab or subway which will take at least 20 mins or longer. This hotel is in the residential area, and cab drivers do not like driving in downtown Manhattan. This hotel is good for business only trips; it's busy, but quiet to be considered manhattan. therefore you will get a lot of work done.

First, I'd like to state that this hotel is in a fantastic location in terms of convenience -- short walk to Central Park. The front desk staff is phenomenal. They are very welcoming, friendly and attentive. The walls in the guest rooms are paper thin. You will hear EVERY word your neighbors speak. You will hear their TV. You will hear everything. I am not exaggerating - my neighbor sneezed and I heard it. I happened to be in a room next to someone who talked on the phone very early in the morning...so, basically, he woke me up around 6:00 am each morning of my stay. The room also had an extremely musty smell. The smell reminded me of a locker room - sweaty smelling. I actually walked a few blocks up the street to store and bought a scented candle. The decor was very chic and modern. However, because of the odor and the thin walls I would not stay here again. You couldn't pay me to stay here again.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 5 nights and loved every minute of it! After finding out that we were in town for my birthday, we were given the corner room on the top floor at no additional charge. The staff was fantastically friendly and super helpful. The linens were a delicious dream of cloud-like comfort. You better believe I'll be back to stay here again ASAP.
