We stayed at the Amari Boulevard Hotel and we had a great time. Booked for 3 nights but we extended as we wanted to see Bangkok a little more. Staff of the hotel is grand. Really very very friendly and helpful. We also met the manager. He is from Holland and seems to be relaxed in what he is doing, but at the same time you can see he has everything under control. Staff gave him a lot of respect, but it did not looked forced. It seems they genuinely like the man. The hotel has the right energy and you can really feel that. Room was well cleaned and breakfast is fantastic. So much food for really a very good price. The location is really in the city centre and the sky train almost in front of the door. We also liked the typical market around the hotel, every evening. My wife and I will definitely come back. To everyone at the Amari Boulevard: THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

There are old and new rooms in the Amari Boulevard and you should ask for a new room. The new rooms are well organized, new furniture, computer connections, and the lights/air conditioning are remote controlled from bedside. Each day we were greeted and the staff was very attentive to our needs. The hotel is located within a short walking distance of the tram which will get you anywhere in Bangkok quickly. I also liked the 24 hour quicky mart across the street for fruit, bottled water, bakery and a pharmacy, Internet is available in the hotel or high speed internet within the block. There's a massage establishment within the block for a relaxing foot massage after a long day of sight seeing.

Rooms need refurbishment
01/14/2007Disappointed with the rooms, very old furniture, needs refurbishment. certainly , not worth the money u pay for. wil nvr consider any amari hotels again.

11/20/2006Terribly disappointed. room furniture and furnishing is very old, needs refurbishing/renovation. certainly not value for money. i was put in non-smoking floor, just to find out my room ...
Terribly disappointed. Room furniture and furnishing is very old, needs refurbishing/renovation. Certainly NOT VALUE FOR MONEY. I was put in non-smoking floor, just to find out my room is opposite a storeroom for the poolside restaurant. Horribly noisy when they return the outdoor furniture to the noisy towards midnite."

i did stay in this hotel for 2 nights and i have to say that the quality of service was really excellent , the location really good and convenient and yes i will for sure come back and stay even longer...the room was equipped with all my needs as a business traveler...thank you again
