The hotel was within walking distance of the Space Needle and quite a few restaurants. We arrived well past the check-in time but it was not a problem. Be warned, parking will cost you extra - about $19/night, although to be fair I understand a lot of Seattle hotels do the same. The hotel is an old building and it shows in the rooms. The king size bed dominated the room - the usual furniture was present (small desk, TV, comfy chair, nightstands) but not much space to maneuver. The bathroom is small with only a shower and no bathtub. I accepted the small room as "you get what you pay for." However, my biggest problem with the hotel was the shoddy internet service. Frequent dropped service was common and made regular surfing hard and video watching nearly impossible. The staff members were very nice to us and they have easily the best continental breakfast I've ever had in a hotel. I definitely lingered in the breakfast room longer than would probably good for me! I can't argue with the value, and I would come back to this hotel if returning to Seattle. The internet was a real issue however, and one I hope they will fix soon.

Location is decent - Not far from the Space Needle. You can take the train from the airport to West Lake and then take the Monorail to the Space Needle. It's about a 10 minute (at the most) to get to this hotel. This must be one of the last remaining hotels to provide a tube TV! The bathroom is small and the shower is even smaller. The shower head is locked in a fixed position, which makes showering difficult. The breakfast selection is great and it's free! The internet wireless reception was also good. It's not the best hotel I've ever stayed in, but it's not the most expensive either...

We got lost trying to find this hotel using our GPS. But upon finally finding it, it was nice to see that it was walking distance to the Space Needle and monorail downtown. It was also nice to have parking available at the hotel, although for a fee. The room was nice and the beds and comforters were extremely comfortable. The free wi-fi connection was also great. The shower was hot and had good pressure. The only complaint was that the walls were really thin. We could hear the people's conversations next door quite clearly and had to call the front desk to have them be quieter since we were trying to sleep, and they did. The free breakfast was phenomenal! One of the best free hotel breakfasts I've ever had. They had a great variety of items including eggs and sausage and even a waffle maker. I would definitely stay here again.

The location was great, just a couple blocks from the Seattle Center, with all its activites and the monorail to downtown. We were also just a few blocks away from several restaurants. The room was a little crowded for two queen beds. One was against the wall, so you couldn't walk around it, and made it hard to get in and out of, but the hotel staff was very friendly and the breakfast room was great.
