I will probably make the Sheraton Gateway at LAX my initial stay on every visit to LA in the future. I stayed there before my international trip, and upon return as well. the consistentcy of the hotel sold me on the entire Sheraton line. Now I must say I stayed in the Sheraton in Rome the following week... and it was my worst experience in a hotel ever... on so many levels. But upon returning, the Sheraton Gateway renewed my faith in the brand again. Ultimately you stay in a hotel for a place to sleep. The room, the bed, the cleanliness, from start to finish is great. Although you are right across the street from the Airport (10 min from hotel to drop off at the departure airline), there was little if any noticable noise. These days, you should have free Wi-Fi in the rooms, but you can use the PC's in lobby area if you do not want to pay the $12.99 fee. Room Service was great, Starbucks is in the Lobby. What more can you ask for?

This is a very good hotel room for the money. The suite was a very good deal for the price I paid. The room was clean and spacious and had a nice view of the airport and is in a good part of L. A. I would recommend this room if you are staying near the airport.
