We stayed at the Sheraton for the weekend. Our room was comfortable and service was good. The CHI Bar was a great place to have a nightcap, or a cocktail before going out to supper. It has friendly staff who were more then happy to give good advise about chicago. They prepared great cocktails. That was my best experience at the hotel. We were shocked when we discovered the hotel charged us 49 dollars a night to park. Being it is their parking garage I think they could have given a better rate for their hotel guests. I would check out the rate they are going to charge for parking before I would book again. It made the cheaper room rate irrelivant. Other Chicago hotels have given us much better rates on parking.

Booking this hotel we expected to have a great time, and service. The hotel is okay. The view is excellent for Navy Pier and Chicago downtown. The only convinience we experience was that they allow dogs in the hotel. Then we took our Chihuaha with us. We did not asked about the parking fee before we arrived, so we went for a big surprise $* per night. The first night I delivered my car to the valet, and an hour later when I requested my car they were not able to tell me even if my car was in the hotel garage. It took 30 minutes to find that the valet forgot to return the other half of the ticket to the office. Then it took 5 minutes to get the car after that. The garage manager apologyzed but for a hotel of this price I would expect a free night parking fee or at least a discount for one night. Another disapointment is that we reserved the medium price room and my brother booked the cheapest option in the same hotel. When I visited his room i was surprised to find the exact same beds and and furniture. But his room was a lot bigger than ours. He had the same view and the same ammenities. The last disapointment was for my kids they try to use the swimming pool a couple of times. The first time they have to close the pool because another kid decided that it was not worthed to use the bathroom but the swimming pool. The second time it was so packed with other kids that there was no room to even move. Normally we stay at hotels that service the O'hare airport and our experience has been a lot better.

I stayed here overnight for a holiday shopping trip. It was about a $* cab ride from Ogilvie Station. It is a great location for shopping being just a couple of blocks from the Magnificent Mile. There were restaurants nearby (walking distance) to eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner. And it is within walking distance to the Chicago Theater as well as Millennium Park. The hotel is spacious and the service was prompt. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The bellman checked our luggage for free (with tip of course) on the day we checked out of the hotel so we could do more shopping and not have to carry it with us. I was definitely stay here again as well as recommend others to do so! Hope this is helpful!!
