My husband and I stayed one night in this hotel after our November 2010 cruise. We found the staff to be polite and helpful. They kindly assisted us with locating a nearby movie theater and arranging transportation. Check in and check out went smoothly and our questions were answered without hesitation. Our room was large, clean and pleasant. And the bed was very, very comfortable. The carpet seemed a bit dated, but we didn't find it bothersome. The bedroom was set apart from a sitting and dining area, which we enjoyed. Although we did not travel with our three young children on this trip, we believe the room had adequate space to hold our entire family if needed. As such, we would use this hotel when traveling with our children. We found the building itself to be quite lovely. The unique design, including the indoor atrium and pond, added a wonderful ambiance to this hotel. We ate dinner at the on-site restaurant during our stay. The food was a bit pricey, but on par with the typical cost of hotel dining. The food was quite tasty and our staff was polite, attentive and efficient. We would eat there again. The outdoor pool was large, clean and refreshing. We swam and enjoyed the warm sunshine without any noise or interruptions. The hot tub, also outdoors, was a little heavy on the chemicals, but we didn't find it to be a deterrent. The sauna took quite some time to warm up, but was also enjoyable. I would recommend starting the sauna before you begin swimming so it will be warm by the time you are ready for it. The sauna restrooms were a bit unkempt, but again, not so much that it was bothersome. Overall we found this hotel to be very enjoyable for a reasonable price. We will use it again on future cruises.

We stayed from Sunday to Friday . The suite ended up being a gathering place for relatives as we were in town due to a death in the family. The pool area was great for the little cousins to play and just be kids. The breakfast was way too expensive; we usually ate at the Moonlight Diner next door. Bartender rude. Desk staff helpful. We would stay again. Diane Memphis, Tn
