At first arriving we were greeted but front desk, but that was the only time we really saw any staff. The hotels computers were down all day and the wait to check in was ridiculously long! I did mention to front desk how i was unable to check in early due to their computer problems and the hotel did upgrade our room to the next grade,which was nice. The show that the hotel sponsored we felt was a little pricy but all in all it was a good show. In the Casino it self was a really long wait as well to get a waitress to bring you a drink! My husband and I traveled in November and were looking forward to getting in a hot tub only to find out this hotel did not have one. Even with the set backs the hotel was still fun and i would give it another chance.

The rooms appeared slightly worn and outdated, but were generally clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, although upon arrival I felt hustled by the bellman at the entrance. We arrived before check-in time, but instead of offering to allow us to see if our room was available, he simply stated that we were early and would need to check our bags. We checked our bags only to proceed to registration to find our room available. Live and learn.

The hotel was conveniently located on the heart of the strip, the staff was fine. We would stay there again however i would upgrade to a bigger room with more amenities if I were going for wedding anniversary or romantic getaway..if you are not planning on staying in the room much, the economy room is a great value.

I've stayed at New York New York on two separate occasions and both stays were very enjoyable. It has a ton of small places to eat throughout the first floor and a roller coaster on the roof. Seriously, what other hotel on the strip can say that? None. The price was awesome and I had a fantastic view of the strip and MGM Grand from my window. I could even see the M&M Store! Fantastic! The room was clean and had two beds. Two! Unbelievable. They even threw in a TV so I could watch Sports Center anytime I wanted (which was always because that show is always on the air). Overall, this was a great place to stay and my only complaint is that I didn't have more Guinness Bombs at the Irish Pub.

Being across the street from the MGM Grand and Excalibur, New York New York is quite literally at the heart of the action. The main dining room and the Italian bakery both have excellent food.
