09/04/2012The hotel is showing its age. the finishes are dated, but nothing is shabby or threadbare. very well maintained. everything works. very clean. an excellent value for the budget minded.

Basic Hotel, Good price
07/19/2012We stayed one night in this ramada inn. we arrived at 1:50 and were informed we would have to wait until 2:00 to check in. at 2:00, ...
We stayed one night in this Ramada Inn. We arrived at 1:50 and were informed we would have to wait until 2:00 to check in. At 2:00, the clerk announced we could check in. There were 2 people ahead of us and there was difficulties with each reservation. When we went to check in, we were informed that we did not have a reservation in my name. In looking up my confirmation number, the reservation somehow was placed in another one of our parties names. The Hotel was badly in need of a remodel, but the rooms and beds were clean and comfortable. The area around the hotel is somewhat rough... many homeless people asking for money. We did not feel uncomfortable or in danger. There were several good restaurants and bars just across the street that we enjoyed very much!

After check-in, we found our room and it wasn't cleaned. It looked as if someone was still living there. We went to the front desk and explained what we had found and the young man at the counter was VERY NICE! He quickly upgraded us to a suite. The room was fantastic!
