This hotel has a great location, it's a good value, and the service was awesome. Yeah, the rooms aren't luxurious and they are older and a little small, but we didn't mind. You can walk to anywhere downtown in the gas lamp district. We also took advantage of their free shuttle to and from the airport which was awesome and we used their free business center with internet access to print out our concert tickets. I would definitely stay here again.

I will say the room we had was rather small but charming. The shower was so small I leaned forward to grab something I dropped and my bottom had no where to go but on the wall of the shower. It made me laugh but not sure how someone bigger could fit (I'm 5'3, 130lbs). My boyfriend and I stayed for a weekend getaway and actually got engaged on the roof during sunset! So the Ramada Inn Gaslamp will always have a special place in our memories. Wonderful location and rooftop. Nice service and convienent valet for a busy downtown but takes a little while to get the car so plan ahead.

This was a beautiful old hotel which had been updated with modern conveniences whilst retaining it's Romantic Charm of "YesterYear", with original wood work and it's original elevator, which was the fastest in the world when it was built! The staff were friendly, warm & enthusiastic in welcoming us without being pushy. Although the room was a little cramped it had everything we needed including airconditioning & it's own bathroom. It was tastefully decorated and the bed was rather comfortable. The hotel was only only blocks away from many restaurants & night clubs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would stay there again.
