Glad I didn't pay attention to negative reviews. Place is clean, service was outstanding, staff friendly and the beach was beautiful. Yes the pool has shade but there is a beautiful beach that has plenty of sun. As far as pricing goes, the area where the Marriott is pricey to begin with. Also, free water, and Internet. Plus, when our flight out got cancelled, we were able to get a room for the extra nights. They went above to make sure we got a similar room! We are planning on coming back next year for sure!

Public areas were very nice. The lobby bar had great music and was very active. Beach area was one of the best in this part of San Juan. Avoid rooms on the ground level at all cost. Smelled of mold and mildew. Very damp. Prices on everythig were very high but consistent with this area of San Juan.

I took my 82 year old mother on vacation before her knee surgery not know because of all her health problem whether she will even survive this surgery just to get away and enjoy ourselves. I am so very happy we had the pleasure to stay at such a team of professional staff members everyone went out of there way to make our vacation one we will never forget.
