Great view
12/11/2012The double beds at that price made me appreciate queen sized beds. it is a nice a hotel and we had a beautiful view of the sunset over the rockies.

Old Loews and it shows

Hotel was ok. Basic. Nothing great about it. It's old and it shows. No updates and its a bit outdated. Bathroom wasn't very clean. Stayed at other Loews and this one doesn't compare. Staff was nice. It's like an old Wyndham. Still has the Loews name but not the quality u expect.

The hotel was perfection as far as the stay and the staff, I would definitely be back for this level of service and accomodation. However, I was told the $50 holding fee charged at the start of my stay would be credited back to my account upon checkout; I always ask. Unfortunately it wasn't, and it was credited back 2 days later causing my spouses account to go negative where the bank charged him again for this fee that I was told wasn't supposed to be drawn. We had other accounts so it was no issue financially, but speaking with the receptionist about the charge as we checked in I expected what I was told by the staff to be true. When I called back to inquire about it, I was told it was the banks fault. Again it was a pleasurable stay and the accoomodations were immaculate, however I wish we were presented with the correct information.

This is a very comfortable hotel. Easy access from I-25. A wonderful welcoming staff, that was both friendly and helpful. The restaurant had quality food and the prices were reasonable. Everything seemed to be in good repair. There were plenty of parking spaces, and the area had good lighting.

It is right between downtown and Cherry Creek which was great for us. It is not walking distance to either, but there is a great complimentary shuttle. We did not go to the restaurant or bar, but we were happy to have the option. The lobby smelled bad, but the room did not. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They do not have a pool or hot tub, but we usually don't make it to them when we travel. There are convenience stores nearby which was nice, but i would not go to the one on Colorado, extremely rude to us for some reason so we left. The one next to the Chinese restaurant was great, very friendly. We would definitely stay again.
