I pre-paid for this hotel in December for a trip in late May. I requested a non-smoking room but upon checking in there were none to be had. The desk clerk informed me I should have put a better reason for the request like "I have allergies". The room was adequate nothing special but for the price I didnt expect much. The hotel is well located in the middle of the strip. However there was quite a bit street noise. Overall its a cheap hotel but there are probably better deals to be found.

The next time I travel to Vegas, I will definately be putting Bill's at the top of the list for places to stay. I've been going to Las Vegas since 1988 and have visited Barbary Coast/Bill's Gambling Hall a few times but never stayed. We generally are not in our room much other than to sleep and shower so spending hundreds of dollars per night on a room makes no sense to us, so we look for bargains. Bill's did not disappoint. If you have a car, parking is a snapCheck-in was fast and friendly and there were no hidden "up charges" (like at some castle whose name I will not mention) whatever that is supposed to mean. All drinks were comped when playing and cheap when we weren't. Everybody was friendly and made us feel like they genuinely appreciated us staying there. If I had to pick out one thing that was negative it would be that the shower heads are very low. Other than that I cannot say enough good things about the place. It is centrally located and it is within walking distance of most of our favorite Vegas haunts. Spend your money for gambling or a nice dinner, not on an expensive hotel room.

Though we booked non smoking rooms, we were given 2 smoking rooms. The receptionist lady was quite rude and announced that nobody promised us non smoking rooms. We almost got into a fight with her over this. We finally got two non-smoking rooms way apart from each other. Also, we paid for the internet and it worked only for 10 min. Did NOT like the service, will NOT stay again!
