Convenient
02/04/2011The hotel was convenient to the metro (dupont circle). lots of restaurants, a grocery store & post office close by which allowed me to choose where & what i wanted to eat.

The Washington Hilton is in a great location if you want to be near Dupont Circle and Adams Morgan. We were able to walk everywhere and go to our favorite restaurants and clubs in these areas. Only a few blocks to the Metro as well. They had a great pool and gym too. We also got the breakfast buffet included which was wonderful. They had something for everyone: eggs, pancakes, fruit, muffins, and an omlette station. And everything was delicious and fresh. The rooms were recently remodeled and the beds were very comfortable with nice fluffy down comforters. And the views of the city are fantastic. We could see most of the monuments from where we were. Its a little expensive but every where is. We were just glad to be so close to where we wanted to be. I would definitely stay there again.

The room was definitely a lot smaller than I thought it would be. I was only there for 2 nights so claustrophobia didn't get a chance to set in. The buffet b'fast was great. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, nice size bathroom & if you're going to be in & out of the room I would recommend staying here. Check out took a while b/c it was a holiday weekend but other than that my stay was fine.

The hotel was in a great location, close to Dupont Circle and Merto services. Only a short taxi ride to Union Station. Safe to walk to Dupont Circle and the desk was helpful with maps and suggestions.

We stayed at the Washington Hilton last July. The Hotel had been beautifully renovated and the location was perfect, in Dupont Circle, one of our favorite Washington neighborhoods. Of course, there are always some negatives and in this case the biggest one was that we had very noisy neighbors in the room next to us, and they kept us up half the night. In other words the walls are very thin! I also want to mention that you have to pay extra to use the work out room.
