My husband and I had a wonderful time with a great view and enjoyed the hotel. Slept well, we were very much entertained with President Obama being there but didn't enjoy that I couldn't get a cab from hotel because it was so buys in the area but it was enjoyable.

We stayed here after a great stay in Napa. We spent our last night at this wonderful hotel and it was a delightfull way to end our trip. The location is great. We went to the Landmark to view the city and then on to dinner. The staff was wonderful!! We will stay there again next time we are in the city.

The staff was extremely accommodating. My visit involved relocating my daughter and the concierge staff was very helpful in connecting us with realtors and drivers who helped us tremendously. Foreign dignitaries were guests at the hotel during my stay, and the hotel personnel were respectful of their privacy and our safety.

During my visit there was a mixup in the kind and level of room I had reserved. Because for one of the nights I had to be in a lower grade room, the receptionist upgraded us for the remainder of our stay. While initially irritated - I was delighted with the effort to accommodate us and the upgrade. The receptionist did everything promised (about moving us on day 2 of our stay) when we checked in. I love the old world charm of the hotel and the unique location in the city. I will certainly stay at the Fairmont again in the future.
