Astonshingly Terrible

Stay away. We should have seen what was coming when we stepped out of an elevator we just used to see it had an "Out of Service" sign on it. Two days later, all of the elevators broke and we had to go up and down 9 flights of stairs to get to/from our room. We couldn't call the desk about the elevator because our room phone was broken; as was our room's hair dryer. Staff actually let us into an empty room one morning to use its hair dryer, but it let out smoke, shot sparks, and quit as soon as we turned it on. The phone in that room was broken too, by the way. One day, the hotel ran out of towels. Unfortunately, the staff is so used to hearing complaints that they honestly, really, couldn't care less that you have a problem too. "Breakfast" is a basket full of pasty bagels and, if you're lucky, a tub of discount-rate mini cinnamon buns. The coffee is always out and no one ever bothers to clean tables, let alone empty the overflowing garbage cans. If you speak Spanish, you can ask the breakfast lady when more coffee is coming. But, she'll lie to you and say "5 minutes", before giving everyone a rude look, not touching any of the piles of dirty Styrofoam plates, pointing at the tip jar, then running to hide in the kitchen. At 10am sharp, she'll ask if anyone wants anything else, then tell them they can't have it because it's 10:00 and breakfast is "closed". Seriously, she did it every morning.

07/14/2011I had to check out and find another hotel at 10pm because there were bed bugs on the bed! other guests on the 11th floor had the same problems! someone ...
I had to check out and find another hotel at 10pm because there were bed bugs on the bed! Other Guests on the 11th floor had the same problems! Someone needs to shut this place down, gross.

functional, it was nice to have a pool

The hotel was fine, the pool was nice, no microwave or fridge for the baby's milk. Parking was trustworthy. Right next to the Metro inner Loop which is free at the moment. You had to pay for the room safe, reguardless if you used it but we did.

04/12/2011Nice building, just some defered maintiance and weak management staff. but it is priced to match the service. cheap price comes with cheap service.
